What are the responsibilities and job description for the Materials Coordinator (Night shift) B2 position at Mastronardi Produce?
Shift: B2; Thursday through Saturday 6 p.m. - 6 a.m. & Wednesdays 12am-6am
Primary Function:
The essential function of this position is to assist the Materials Supervisor regarding daily material requirements. The individual is responsible for a wide variety of duties including but not limited to this job description.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Keep stock organized and readily accessible.
- Reconcile discrepancies in inventories and notify supervisor of irregularities.
- Perform physical counts of inventory, including weekly top-seal inventory.
- Operate vertical conveyor.
- Move inventory to various locations manually by operating pallet jack, hand cart and forklift.
- Load and off load trailers and delivery truck.
- Fill and ship orders, ensuring accuracy of shipments and supporting documentation.
- Ensure that boxes are stored on trailers or sent upstairs.
- Monitor packaging on the floor with the goal of keeping the warehouse floor clear.
- Pull and verify all materials required for packing samples (clam, boxes and bags, etc.).
Education/Background Requirements:
- High School Graduate, Post- Secondary education preferred.
- At least two years’ experience in a Materials department required.
Specific Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required
- Shipping, receiving and inventory experience an asset.
- Be respectful and deal tactfully with customers, other employees and vendors.
- Strong organizational skills and proficiency with MS Office: Word, Outlook and Excel.
- Must have ability to effectively follow-up and handle multiple projects with strong personal time-management.
- Proficiency in use of English language with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally.
- Willingness to work independently, with minimal supervision and take ownership of job.
- Willingness to work with a high degree of professionalism and personal integrity.
- Strong organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills. Need to be creative, adaptable and able to accurately work with a sense of urgency.
- Maintain all company information confidential and protect proprietary information.
