Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Knowledge of durable medical equipment in inventory with ability to explain how to safely operate all items delivered to the nursing home employees.
- Prepares assigned delivery vehicle for scheduled routes by pulling stock from the available warehouse inventory, safely loading onto the delivery vehicle, and securing with provided devices.
- Delivers, picks up, and services medical equipment ordered from customer nursing homes.
- Drives safely following all rules of the road.
- Participates in cleaning, disinfecting, and testing of returned (dirty) medical equipment.
- Participates in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the warehouse and delivery vehicles.
- Completes all assigned orders each day.

- Ability to exercise tact, courtesy, and ethics when dealing with nursing home staff, residences/patients, and co-workers.
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Ability to take directions and work independently with little supervision.
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
- Strong critical thinking skills and ability to make good judgement decisions.
Education and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Knowledge of operating and instructing various types of durable medical equipment (DME) is preferred.
- Experience working in a warehouse setting is preferred.
- Previous experience with delivery of large items is preferred.
Physical Demands
- Pushing or lifting items weighing up to and over 100 lbs. without assistance
- Standing, bending, squatting, and climbing stairs or ladders
- Sitting in one position for long periods of time while driving a vehicle

- MasVida Health provides medical equipment to residences of nursing homes in [location] and the surrounding areas. People can be uncomfortable with what they witness while performing the duties of this job. Are you comfortable with delivering and retrieving medical equipment from nursing homes and what could be witnessed?
- The work schedule for this position will be Tuesday - Saturday. The work hours (which can change) will be 11:00AM - 7:30PM Tuesday - Friday, and 9:30AM - 5:30PM on Saturday. Will you be able to work this schedule and times with no conflicts?
- This position requires participation of an on-call shift, which includes working after-hours, on the weekend, and during some holidays. Being on-call is an additional responsibility on top of the normal daily work schedule. Will you be able to participate without conflict?
Education:
- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
Experience:
- Route driving: 1 year (Preferred)
- Delivery driver: 1 year (Required)
- Customer service: 1 year (Preferred)
