Job Description:
This role involves working closely with patients, primary healthcare providers, and other team members to address various mental health needs. A successful candidate will possess strong assessment and intervention skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in an interdisciplinary environment. Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting comprehensive initial consultations to identify patient needs.
- Developing tailored treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based practices.
- Collaborating with healthcare teams to recognize and manage psychiatric disorders and psychological issues.
- Referring patients to specialized Behavioral Health Services when needed.
Essential Qualifications:
- Licensed LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the State of Alaska.
- A minimum of two years of experience delivering direct counseling services.
- Familiarity with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems and Microsoft Office tools.
