This is a Per-Diem S.A.N.E RN role at Mat-Su Regional Hospital! Schedule will include Days/Nights and call.

In this role, attention to detail, full body-head to toe examination experience will support you in this role. A background in in the trauma is a plus. We will help you pursue your SANE certification, it is not required to be considered, but highly valued for this role.
Evaluates assigned patients and plans, implements and documents nursing care. Assists physicians during examinations and procedures. Performs various patient tests and administers medications within the scope of practice of the registered nurse. Promotes patients' independence by establishing patient care goals and teaching patients and families to understand conditions, medications, and self-care skills. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department.
Position Qualifications/Minimum Requirements
Education:
Associate's Degree in Nursing or Diploma Program required. BSN preferred.
Experience: Sufficient previous clinical experience in area of expertise. Trauma or critical care experience considered.
REQUIRED Minimum: For Per-Diem, you must have 2 years of recent like to like experience within the same scope of practice.

Current Alaska RN license or compact state license
BLS Basic Cardiac & ACLS (American Heart Association or American Red Cross)
