Sandblaster

Matador Powder Coating, a leader in the Powder Coating industry, is hiring hardworking Sandblast Technicians for day shift and evening shift. This person must pay close attention to detail, be organized, and must have previous Sand Blasting experience.

Summary of Key Responsibilities

Responsibilities and essential job functions include, but are not limited to the following:

• Daily operation of sandblasting procedures
• Daily organizing and cleaning of sandblast area
• Basic set up and shut down of sandblast facility and equipment

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment with rapidly changing priorities and be a team player to accomplish the company goals
• Self-motivated, assertive, and responds to production metrics
• Knowledge of sand blasting processes
• Contributes to building a positive team spirit and puts success of team above own interests
• Ability to think on your feet to solve problems that may arise
• Ability to be on time to work
• Must have solid transportation and working phone
• Candidates must be self motivated

Summary of Experience and Education

• Minimum of three years sandblasting experience
• Knowledge of sandblasting equipment (Clemco blasting 600lb pots)
• Must be detail oriented and able to pay close attention to detail

Compensation

• Compensation $18 to $30 per hour, DOE
• Hours are shift dependent and varying
