The Commercial Analyst will support the Commercial team in the Permian Basin with high focus in the Delaware Basin asset area with the discovery and evaluation of potential new oil, gas, and water prospects, economic evaluations of new pipeline investments and commercial negotiations.

Responsibilities
- Tasks shall include financial analysis, data reporting, and internal / external interaction.
- Analyze existing commercial deals to ensure assets are fully optimized while finding improvement to future deals.
- Run economic models for various midstream projects.
- Maintain contact with existing customers to monitor drilling plans and production forecasts.
- Understanding of crude oil, and gas production forecasts, market demand, pipeline connections, flows, and utilization.
- Assist in commercial proposal preparation.
- Other ad hoc duties as necessary
Qualifications
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree is preferred
- Prior experience in the Oil and Gas industry is preferred
- Strong communication and analytical skills required
- Ability to work with a multi-disciplinary team
- Self-starter that can handle a fast-paced environment
- High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
