Job Title: ICU RN (Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse)
Location: Matagorda Regional Medical Center, Bay City, TX 77414
Shift: Nights (12-hour shifts)
Start Date: 04/28/2025
Duration: 13 Weeks
Responsibilities:
Provide intensive care for critically ill patients in the ICU.
Manage ventilators, administer medications, and monitor high-acuity patients.
Utilize MEDITECH for patient documentation and communicate with multidisciplinary teams.
Float between MedSurg or ER as needed based on experience.
Work a rotating 36/48 schedule, with every other weekend and holiday requirements.
Qualifications:
Experience: 2 years ICU experience.
Licenses/Certifications: Active RN license, ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC (NIHSS preferred).
Education: BSN preferred (not required).
Ability to manage vents or willing to be trained.
36 hours per week guaranteed.
Additional Information:
EMR: MEDITECH.
RTO: Limited.
Must complete health education/testing modules before starting.
