Alaska's 2nd largest school district is looking to hire School Audiologists for the upcoming school year! We are located 45 minutes outside of Anchorage, AK. We have 19,000 students across 48 schools. Our communities include: Glacier View, Sutton, Palmer, Wasilla, Butte, Knik-Fairview, Meadow Lakes, Big Lake, Houston, Willow, Talkeetna and Trapper Creek.

Position Description: Support students with hearing difficulties in an educational setting. Perform a variety of tasks, including: advocating for students, collaborating, promoting early detection, monitoring hearing instruments, improving classroom environments if applicable, assisting with program placement, preparing families evaluating hearing. They also recommend services such as hearing aids, cochlear implants, and other hearing assistive technology and provide training to students, parents, and school staff about hearing loss and its impact on learning, communication, and social development.
Salary: $71,636 – $86,064 starting wage, depending on verification of service and education. MSBSD has a competitive Salary Schedule with an accelerated step advancement. Applicants can bring a maximum of 6 years' experience. We pay an additional $3,000 bonus PER YEAR for national certification (ex: ASHA) and provide $3,000 relocation bonus.
Leave: Each Related Service Provider receives 4 paid personal leave days at the beginning of the year and accrues 1.33 sick leave days each month of employment.
Retirement: MSBSD is a member of the State of Alaska Teachers Retirement System.
