This position assists with manual tasks related to the handling of solid waste and litter control. Work is performed and duties are carried out in accordance with established policies, procedures, and Borough core values: Accountability, Customer Focus, Dedication, Integrity, Responsiveness and Teamwork.This is a Summer Assignment position: May 1, through October 31, 2024.

SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION
Assists in maintaining the central landfill. Processes latex paints and other universal wastes according to division policies and procedures. Packs refrigerants into containers. Transports universal waste from transfer sites. Loads abandoned waste into vehicle for transport to landfill. Assists in tagging vehicles for impound; takes photographs and collects data. Cuts weeds and brush. Assists with snow removal operations. Answers customer questions and directs the public to waste disposal areas. Performs related duties.
