Infrastructure Engineer
We are searching for an experienced Infrastructure Engineer at our Palmer HQ facility.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
SUMMARY OF POSITION'S ROLE The Infrastructure Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, monitoring, and maintaining the IT infrastructure of MTA. This role involves ensuring the stability, integrity, and efficient operation of the information systems that support core organizational functions. The Infrastructure Engineer will work closely with the Infrastructure Architect and other IT staff to identify, recommend, develop, implement, and support cost-effective technology solutions for all aspects of the organization. Required Qualifications:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS SUPERVISION No direct supervision, however, may periodically mentor other infrastructure personnel in the performance of their job duties. EFFECT OF ERROR Errors in an employee's normal work activity can put employer at low-to-moderate risk. The possibility for error correction depends on the nature of the error and the effect of such errors can range between inconsequential to having a highly negative impact on MTA’s operations or cash flow. Correction may require a low to moderate level of disruption of normal departmental and company resource allocations. JOB SCOPE The individual employee will perform a multiplicity of functions or professional procedures which go beyond repetitive operations. The tasks assume a greater complexity; they are likely to require creativity and a demonstration of vocational and/or professional initiative. These activities require a working knowledge of the operations of more than one department. The ability to manage multiple tasks at the same time is essential.
