Duties
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on various equipment and systems, including electrical and mechanical components.
- Utilize tools such as ohmmeters to diagnose and troubleshoot issues efficiently.
- Fabricate parts and components as necessary to ensure operational effectiveness.
- Read and interpret schematics to understand system layouts and troubleshoot problems effectively.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.
- Collaborate with team members to enhance facility operations and address any maintenance concerns promptly.
- Provide leadership in maintenance projects, guiding less experienced staff when needed.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inventory of supplies.
Qualifications
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in facilities maintenance.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters.
- Familiarity with logic controllers and their applications in facility systems.
