Program Overview:
The Match Associate Teacher (MAT) Program is a one-year apprenticeship designed to launch the teaching careers of aspiring teachers. As an MAT, you will participate in intensive training and coaching, receive regular feedback and support, and assume increasing teaching responsibilities throughout the year.

How It Works:
The MAT Program runs from August 1 to July 31 and consists of three main components:
- Intensive training and coaching
- Increasing teaching responsibilities
Duties and Responsibilities:
As a Match Associate Teacher, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Supporting host teachers in the classroom
- Assisting with lesson planning, grading, and parent communication
- Participating in professional development workshops and training sessions
- Collaborating with colleagues to develop and implement new teaching methods and materials
Qualifications:
To be successful as a Match Associate Teacher, you must possess:
- A bachelor's degree from an accredited institution

Application Process:
Applications are accepted on a rolling basis, with priority rounds occurring in October, January, and March. Pre-interview screens and final interviews will take place in cycles, and program decision letters will be mailed out approximately two weeks after the final interview.
