Position : Database Engineer
Location : Anchorage, AK Remote-friendly (Preference for local candidates)
Duration : 6 months (Possible contract-to-hire)
Rate : $70-75 / hr on W2
Primary Responsibilities :
- Install, maintain, and optimize Microsoft SQL Server databases.
- Develop and deploy SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) .
- Conduct daily and weekly maintenance checks, including performance tuning and security audits of production databases.
- Set up new servers, potentially including Microsoft Windows Server configuration .
- Perform database tuning, integrity checks, and review scheduled jobs .
- Collaborate with the IT department and other database engineers to support business objectives.
