We are looking for a Cafe Manager to organize daily operations and motivate our staff to provide excellent customer service. Cafe Manager responsibilities include scheduling shifts for baristas and wait staff, monitoring daily expenses and revenues and ordering supplies like coffee, milk and snacks, as needed. To be successful in this role you should have work experience with various roles in coffee shops. You should be available to work during opening hours, including weekends and holidays. Ultimately, you will help increase profitability, boost customer engagement and turn our cafe into a favorite local spot.
Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day operations of the cafe, ensuring that safety and security standards are emphasized and adhered to.
- Hire and onboard all new team members. Lead, train, coach, and counsel team members to create a best in class work environment and customer experience.
- Advise staff on the best ways to resolve issues with customers and deliver excellent customer service. Nurture friendly relationships with customers to increase loyalty and boost our reputation.
- Draft schedules that meet the needs of the business so that a great customer experience is delivered while enabling good lifestyles for store employees.
- Coordinate with vendors and order supplies, as needed. Maintain updated records of daily, weekly and monthly revenues and expenses.
- Collaborate on new menu items based on seasonality and customers’ preferences.
- Maintain a clean restaurant with excellent quality food and customer service.
About You:
- Customer service focused and oriented
- Energetic, Passionate, positive and friendly attitude
- Strong communication and organization skills, Google Suite general knowledge required
- Strong team building and morale building abilities
- Ability to implement Company policies and procedures efficiently
- Sound decision making and problem solving skills with the ability to resolve conflicts
- Ability to adapt successfully in a fast-paced environment
- Previous barista or cafe management experience highly preferred
