We’re looking for dedicated, experienced NP preceptors to help mentor students in Family, Psychiatric Mental Health, Adult-Gerontology, Pediatrics, Acute Care, Education/Leadership, Informatics and Women’s Health tracks. Whether you're passionate about teaching or just looking to give back to the profession, we'd love to have you on board.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a clinical preceptor for Nurse Practitioner students.
- Provide supervision, mentorship, and real-world insights during clinical rotations.
- Collaborate with students' academic programs as needed for documentation and evaluation.
- Create a supportive, inclusive learning environment aligned with the student's scope and competencies.
Qualifications
- Active, unencumbered Nurse Practitioner license in your practicing state.
- Minimum 1 year of clinical NP experience.
- Experience in primary care, mental health, or specialty NP practice areas.
- Passion for teaching and supporting the next generation of providers.
- You must currently work in a clinical setting that is open and welcoming to student learners. MatchNP does not provide the clinical site.
