Location : Denver, CO (6175 S Willow Dr, Greenwood Village, CO 80111)Duration : 6 monthsResponsibilities / Job Duties : The key focus of this project will be working on F5, A10, SRX and Nexus upgradesAbility to write mops and find issues in designStrong knowledge in either Cisco ASA or SRX firewalls (experience with both is a plus)No design experience is requiredAssists in the development and documentation of technical standards.Implements approved methods of procedure.Highly skilled in Network OperationsProactively and consistently support all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience.Implements and assists in designing corporate standards, develops and implements network enhancements and makes recommendations for improvement.Works on projects / systems / issues of varying complexity surrounding network planning, configuration, and optimization.Works on one or more projects as a project team member, regularly as a project team lead.Leads in the development and documentation of technical standards and implements approved methods of procedure.Knows, understands, and follows company policy.Performs other duties as requested by supervisor.Adheres to industry specific local, state, and federal regulations, as applicable.BASIC / MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSBachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field or equivalent work experienceMinimum four (4) years Data network experience - Cisco and / or Juniper.Minimum four (4) year experience with F5 Load balancersADDITIONAL JOB REQUIREMENTSRouting / SwitchingAbility to produce accurate MOPSCisco ASA and / or SRX firewall experienceAdvanced knowledge of related industry specifications and standards IEEE, ANSI, Physical Media (Multimode Fiber, Singlemode Fiber, UTP, etc.), bridging, switching, routing, ethernet and transport technologies and protocolsExperience with network design, network architecture, protocols and network topologyTCP / IP and the OSI ModelAdvanced knowledge in using ticketing and software tools to support the current operationsExperience with network devices and basic network appliancesAdvanced knowledge in using ticketing and software tools to support the current operationsAbility to perform duties in a very fast pace environment and ability to learn new technology quicklyPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSCisco Certification (CCNA or CCNP)Industry and vendor specific certifications and training (Cisco, Juniper, Alcatel-Lucent, etc.)Knowledge of company products and service#J-18808-Ljbffr
