We are seeking a Technical Writer with an engineering or development background to join our team. This individual will play a critical role in supporting our engineering teams by improving documentation, streamlining workflows, and enhancing overall productivity.
Key Responsibilities
Create, edit, and maintain technical documentation, including developer guides, API documentation, system architecture overviews, and internal knowledge bases.
Collaborate with engineers to extract and document best practices, coding standards, and system processes.
Improve and standardize documentation to enhance the productivity and efficiency of our engineering teams.
Utilize Confluence and other documentation tools to structure and manage content effectively.
Identify gaps in existing documentation and proactively work with stakeholders to address them.
Assist in developing training materials and onboarding guides for new engineers.
Continuously seek ways to enhance documentation processes and ensure alignment with team goals.
Required Qualifications
Background in software development or engineering (e.g., experience with coding, system architecture, or technical problem-solving).
Strong writing skills with the ability to break down complex technical information for different audiences.
Familiarity with Confluence and other documentation tools.
Ability to work independently and take initiative in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent collaboration and communication skills to engage with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in technical writing, documentation, or knowledge management within an engineering environment.
Understanding of software development methodologies, tools, and workflows.
Exposure to programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript) or DevOps practices.
