Matco Tools is seeking an experienced Credit Account Resolution Agent to join our team. As a Credit Account Resolution Agent, you will be responsible for resolving past-due credit accounts via outbound and inbound customer call interactions. This role offers a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with a guaranteed $400 monthly performance bonus for the first 3 months.
The ideal candidate will have at least 6 months of collections experience in a call center environment and possess strong negotiation and account management skills. They must also have a high sense of integrity and be able to work independently with minimal direction. This role requires a hybrid schedule, with Tuesdays through Thursdays on-site at our headquarters in Stow, OH, and Mondays and Fridays from home.
As a Credit Account Resolution Agent at Matco Tools, your responsibilities will include:
- Resolving past-due credit accounts via outbound and inbound customer call interactions.
- Utilizing effective verbal and/or written communications and influencing skills to determine reasons for delinquency and to advise of proper payment arrangements.
- Properly documenting collection actions and status of account.
- Processing electronic debit, credit, and check payments over the phone.
- Maintaining professional interaction with all Matco Tools personnel and customers at all times.
