The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling fabricated and purchased parts using assembly drawings and parts lists provided by engineering. High-complexity mechanical assembly requiring fitting, alignment, and adjustment to very close tolerances is a key aspect of this position.
We are looking for someone who is versatile in and around a manufacturing environment, with strong maintenance/mechanical background and knowledge of machine tool assembly and typical machine shop equipment like mills, lathes, grinders, and hand tools.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience with mechanical assembly and maintenance in the automation industry and be able to read and interpret assembly drawings and blueprints.
