Responsibilities of a Matec Mechanical Tech.
- Assembly and Fabrication : Assemble fabricated and purchased parts using assembly drawings and parts lists provided by engineering.
- Mechanical Modifications : Implement mechanical alterations and additions during debugging to ensure optimal functionality.
- Collaboration : Work closely with mechanical and controls engineers to ensure machines operate properly and meet design specifications.
- Non-Repetitive Assembly : Perform various non-repetitive mechanical assembly functions using hand or power tools, ensuring precision and quality.
- Machine and Sub-Assembly Construction : Build machines and sub-assemblies to design requirements and customer specifications, adhering to quality standards.
- Testing and Documentation : Utilize test equipment to perform functional testing, record appropriate documentation, and maintain accurate test data.
