Job Summary: The Argo Plant is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Full-Time Payroll Temp to join our team. This temporary position will support the payroll department in ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll for all employees. The ideal candidate will have experience in payroll processing, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the preparation and processing of bi-weekly payroll for all plant employees.
Ensure accurate and timely entry of payroll data, including hours worked, overtime, and deductions.
Verify and reconcile payroll discrepancies and resolve any issues promptly.
Maintain payroll records and ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
Assist with the preparation of payroll reports and summaries for management.
Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll and resolve any related issues.
Collaborate with HR and finance departments to ensure accurate employee data and payroll processing.
Perform other administrative tasks as needed to support the payroll department.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; associate's or bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field preferred.
Previous experience in payroll processing or a related role.
Proficiency in payroll software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Working Conditions:
