Certified Secondary CTE Teacher

MATER BRIGHTON LAKES ACADEMY IS LOOKING FOR AMAZING CTE TEACHER TO JOIN OUR TEAM!

A CTE teacher specializes in Career and Technical Education (CTE), a field that focuses on preparing students for success in specific careers by providing practical skills and knowledge. CTE teachers design and deliver instruction in areas such as agriculture, business, technology, health sciences, and other vocational fields, tailoring their curriculum to align with industry standards and local workforce demands. Due to expanding our program, we are open to considering any CTE course as it is dependent on the qualifications of the teacher.

The starting salary of $50,600 is for those with a valid teaching certificate or statement of eligibility. Additional pay is based on years of experience and degrees earned.

Those interested in applying without teaching certification can be considered but the pay would decrease and would be based on degrees earned.

Teachers with valid certification in another state other than Florida may also apply.

Full-time classroom experience is preferred but optional.

Responsibilities are but not limited to lesson planning, grading, conducting whole and small group instruction, creating a positive learning environment, working with a team, and utilizing data to guide instruction.
