Lt Substitute Teacher: Social Studies

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree and Teaching Credential in Social Studies High school teaching experience preferred CPR Certified Qualified candidates will be able to: Support a student-centered atmosphere implementing a Problem Based Learning Plan and execute lessons that are data driven, incorporate research-based methodologies, and are designed to engage and support all learners. Design learning experiences for students that place value on innovation, inquiry, and creativity. Offer collaborative and individual learning opportunities that support student growth. Incorporate educational technology into the classroom in an authentic manner to enhance the learning experience. Actively collaborate with fellow teachers to design lessons, analyze data, and write common assessments. Additional Responsibilities: Acts as a professional role model in a Catholic environment. Support the mission of Catholic education, as envisioned in Church documents and teachings, rooted in our core principles of Honor, Glory, and Love.? Ensure the safety and welfare of students.? Physical Demands & Working Environment: Work is performed primarily in a standard classroom setting.
