What are the responsibilities and job description for the Temporary Facilities Technician I position at Mater Dei High School?
Mater Dei High School, a Catholic, co-educational, college preparatory high school of the Diocese of Orange has an immediate opening for a Temporary Facilities Technician I.
This full-time, temporary position will not exceed 6 months.
Candidate must have experience performing a variety of duties related to overall facilities maintenance on a school campus. Work performed includes minor repairs, set up and breakdown of campus events, plumbing, and painting.? Responsibilities also include the upkeep of all assigned campus areas, to ensure a safe and clean environment for staff, students, and visitors. Work is performed in a fast-paced environment with deadlines and close turnarounds while maintaining a positive attitude. Some work will be performed off campus and includes nights and weekends.

Education: High School Diploma or GED
Experience: Previous school facilities experience highly preferred.
Hours: Any of the following -
Sunday and Saturday, 6 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Monday through Friday, 6 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Monday through Friday, 12 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
Must be willing to be flexible with shift hours.
Must be willing to work overtime if needed.
Off-site events during the day and/or night as scheduled.
