We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Elementary School Teacher to join our educational team. Duties
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that meet curriculum standards and cater to the varying learning styles of students.
- Provide instruction in core subjects such as Math, English, Science, and Social Studies while integrating creative teaching methods.
- Assess student progress through regular evaluations and provide constructive feedback to support their academic growth.
- Create a positive classroom environment that encourages student participation, collaboration, and respect.
- Collaborate with parents and guardians to discuss student progress and address any concerns related to their education.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and other relevant documentation.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay updated on educational best practices.
- Support students with special needs by implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) as necessary.
Skills
- Strong background in tutoring or mentoring children, with experience in early childhood education or special education being highly desirable.
- Proficiency in lesson planning and curriculum development tailored to elementary school standards.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with an emphasis on proofreading educational materials.
- Ability to create engaging learning experiences that foster critical thinking and problem-solving skills among students.
- Experience working in private school settings is a plus but not mandatory.
- A nurturing demeanor that promotes a supportive classroom atmosphere conducive to learning.
