What are the responsibilities and job description for the ERP Developer position at Material Handling Inc.?
Nashville Wire Products, an established local manufacturer of steel wire products, is currently seeking candidates to fill an opening in their IT Department. This role is a full-time position requiring an in office presence at our headquarters in Nashville, TN. Benefits eligibility commences on the first of the month following 30 days of service and includes access to major medical, dental, and vision plans. At six months of service all salaried associates receive 40 hours of vacation followed by a graduated schedule of increasing hours based on years of service.
Key Responsibilities :
- Innovate and Maintain : Install, manage, and maintain ERP software, third-party add-ons, and any supporting technologies
- Be the Expert : Develop an expert level understanding of the ERP platform - both front and back-end. Provide advanced technical support, acting as an escalation point for Business System Analysts.
- Optimize and Monitor : Design SQL queries, perform data translations, execute traces, and use other applicable tools to optimize and monitor databases.
- Integrate and Support : Author and support specialized software / hardware integrations necessary to integrate ERP with TMS, CMMS, and other application silos.
- Customize and Troubleshoot : Review, create, modify, and troubleshoot custom reports, data views, VBA and VB Scripts, as well as author and customize code using 4GL, Python, Java, and .Net.
- Collaborate and Execute : Work with solution stakeholders to gather requirements, test and troubleshoot issues, and provide ongoing support for the line of business applications.
- Document and Improve : Produce clear, concise documentation of all customizations and collaborate with team members to analyze, prioritize, and execute ongoing customization requests.
