Position Summary
MHP currently has an opening for a Territory Sales Representative to support our machine sales coverage. This position is responsible for providing exemplary customer satisfaction to assigned accounts through the sale and promotion of products and services offered by MHP. From the field, the Territory Sales Representative will serve as the primary liaison between MHP and the customer.
Major Tasks, Responsibilities & Key Accountabilities
- Develop sales opportunities by researching and identifying potential accounts, soliciting new accounts, building rapport, providing technical information and explanations and preparing quotes.
- Build relationships with customers quickly and in a mutually beneficial manner.
- Listen to and engage every customer to obtain sufficient information to correctly determine or confirm his/her requests.
- Answer customer questions regarding products, prices, availability, product uses and rental policies.
- Create quotations and maintain records of contacts, accounts and orders.
- Consult with clients after contract signing to resolve issues and provide ongoing support.
- Work with team members to ensure high quality work and the best possible customer experience.
Requirements
- Specific industry experienced desired or an equivalent college degree.
- Qualified candidate MUST have prior service, parts or sales experience in a dealership or rental company environment to include heavy customer contact and negotiation.
- Must possess a valid and active New York State driver’s license, appropriate to the position and type of vehicle required for the position.
- Prior territory management experience preferred.
- High energy, excellent communication skills, and a strong work ethic required.

Pay: $63,037.00 - $71,882.00 per year
