What are the responsibilities and job description for the Janitorial position at Material Sciences Corporation?
BASIC PURPOSE OF POSITION:
Cleans building, plant offices and grounds. Services all washrooms. Makes pick ups and deliveries as necessary.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION:
· Performs miscellaneous janitorial duties including sweeping, mopping, and emptying trash cans and recycling bins
· Assists in the cleaning of parking lots, driveways and walkways
· Waxes floors and paints office spaces as needed
· Responsible for pickups and deliveries or material or personnel
· May perform minor repairs on buildings and fixtures
· May assist with maintaining landscaping and mowing the lawn
· Assist maintenance personnel as necessary
· Performs other duties as assigned
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS FOR THE POSITION:
· High school education or GED
· Able to work with others
· Valid driver’s license
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.51 per hour
