Purpose of Position
The purpose of this position is to prepare and transmit client reports.
Essential Functions
· Prepare comprehensive reports to include all information pertinent to the project from sample receipt to reporting
· Identify report level requested.
· Transmit the prepared report and all information required for data package level to the client
· Prepare electronic data deliverable files as needed
· Organize client reports with information for invoicing
· Prepare and transmit monthly client progress report
· Oversee custody and storage of client project files
· Communicate with clients about reporting status and needs
· Communicate with client and management on complaints or requests for revision
· Prepare and transmit revised reports
· Tracks status of projects and requests data for projects due as needed.
· Update Status List with completed report dates
Additional Functions
· Ensure regular, punctual attendance during scheduled work hours
· Perform other duties as required
Minimum Training & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a science field plus three years of experience are necessary to qualify for this position. An equivalent combination of education and experience that provides the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities for the position may be considered.

Knowledge of laboratory methods used is helpful for this position

· Demonstrate ability to regularly uses typical office equipment such as a mutli-line phone, photocopier, and calculator
· Ability to use computer equipment such as a desktop computer and printer; and typical business software such as word processing, spreadsheet, and email software programs
Physical Requirements
The Reporting Coordinator will engage in occasional periods of light physical activity.
Occupational Hazards
The position does not typically perform under hazardous conditions but is responsible for maintaining a safe personal workspace. He or she must don personal protective equipment including safety glasses before entering a laboratory space.
