Graphic Designer/Social Media Manager

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Graphic Designer/Social Media Manager at Materials Inc. The role involves creating graphics, developing branding materials, working with typography, and managing social media content. The position requires creativity, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively within a dynamic team environment. Duties as a Graphic Designer will include:

• Understand project requirements and ideas.
• Use graphic techniques to create drafts.
• Produce files, banners, and interfaces.
• Pitch creative concepts.
• Collaborate with the team to launch projects.
• Use feedback from other designers to improve.
• Experience with design software and graphics editing software, such creative suite.
• Knowledge of design techniques, such as Prototyping.
• Ability to work well within a team.
• Time management skills.
• A talent for creativity and problem-solving.
• Graphic Design qualification or similar.

Duties as a Social Media Manager will include:

• Deliberate planning, strategy and goal setting.
• Development of brand identity, awareness and online reputation.
• Content management (including website)
• SEO (search engine optimization) and generation of inbound traffic.
• Reputation management.

Must be able to use the following programs:

• Illustrator
• In-Design
• Photoshop
• Canva
• WordPress (Basic knowledge)

Nice to have but not required:

• Proficiency in Spanish
• Knowledge of video editing software
• Knowledge of newsletter design or programs associated with newsletter design
• Google Analytics

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.50 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
