What are the responsibilities and job description for the Apartment Maintenance Technician position at Materials Testing Consultants?
We are looking to hire a full time maintenance technician who is a team player and will join the our maintenance team on property. This is a full time position Mon-Fri 8:00-5:00 with extra hours available. Main job responsibilities includes helping with Hvac, Plumbing, and electric work etc.
- Running work orders and maintaining the properties HVAC equipment in order to keep climate control in the apartments functioning properly
- Installing new Hvac units when neccesary
- Repairing broken or leaking plumbing to avoid water damage and restore full use of water fixtures
- Working on damaged electrical wiring when a shortage or severed wire occurs
- Applying preventative measures to the building to reduce the risk of future problems, such as using a sealant on a flat roof
- Fixing potential safety hazards to avoid injuries
- Help with the general upkeep of the property
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour
