Become an Early Head Start (EHS) Advocate I!
Are you passionate about supporting families and making a real impact in the lives of infants, toddlers, and expectant parents? MCC is looking for dedicated EHS Advocates (Case Managers) to provide hands-on, home-based support to families in our Early Head Start (EHS) program.
If you’re currently pursuing a degree in Social Work, Human Services, Child Development, or a related field—or working toward your Child Development Associate (CDA) credential—take the first step in your career through Maternity Care Coalition’s Educational Pathways program.
You can begin your social service career through the program while still enrolled in college or a training program. You are eligible for Maternity Care Coalition’s generous benefits package upon hiring.
What You’ll Do:
- Deliver engaging, curriculum-based home visits to pregnant women and families with infants and toddlers, empowering them as their child’s first teacher
- Support parents in fostering their child’s development, well-being, and school readiness

Connect families to vital resources in health, education, and social services
Plan interactive learning activities and guide families on child development best practices - Assist families in setting goals, scheduling medical and developmental checkups, and accessing community support
- Host socialization events, training sessions, and parenting meetings to strengthen community ties
What We’re Looking For:
- Passion for working with families and young children
- Currently pursuing an AA/AS or BA/BS in Social Work, Public Health, Child Development, or a related field or working toward a CDA credential
- Experience in community outreach, early childhood education, or maternal and child health (preferred but not required!)
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Ability to work independently while being part of a collaborative, mission-driven team
- Bilingual candidates (Spanish, Burmese) are highly encouraged to apply!
