This job is a part-time, non-benefited, FLSA non-exempt position in the Developmental Studies Department that reports to the Coordinator of Academic Support Labs. Working primarily at the Alpharetta Campus.
Salary: $15.60/hr
Schedule: May work up to 19 hours a week depending on business needs and budget.
Minimum Qualifications( Job Code H1001)
Successful completion of at least 6 credit hours of college-level math courses. Interview and testing for subject competence are required. Ability to listen to students and focus their attention. Ability to explain complex math concepts. Excellent oral communication skills. Ability to form good working relationships with peers and students. Ability to work with diverse student backgrounds. Ability to coach study skills and behavior toward successful course completion.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Mathematics and previous college-level tutoring experience.
