We are seeking a skilled and experienced Data Engineering Manager - Salesforce Development to join a leading pharma company in Mettawa, IL. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the development and management of Salesforce-based data engineering solutions, ensuring efficient data pipelines, integrations, and delivering high-quality solutions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive data-driven strategies and improve business operations.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the development, implementation, and optimization of Salesforce-based data engineering solutions.
- Manage a team of Salesforce developers and data engineers, guiding them through best practices for data management and development.
- Oversee the integration of Salesforce with various internal systems, ensuring smooth data flow and real-time updates.
- Develop data pipelines and workflows to handle large volumes of structured and unstructured data.
- Work closely with business stakeholders to define data requirements and translate them into scalable solutions.
- Ensure the accuracy, security, and availability of data across systems.
- Monitor and troubleshoot data-related issues, providing timely resolutions.
- Drive continuous improvement in data engineering processes and tools.
- Collaborate with IT, sales, marketing, and analytics teams to enhance data analytics and business intelligence capabilities.
Skills Required:
- 6 years of experience in data engineering, with a focus on Salesforce development.
- Strong expertise in Salesforce development and integration (Apex, Visualforce, Lightning, etc.).
- Proven experience in managing data pipelines, ETL processes, and working with cloud-based technologies.
- Familiarity with data warehousing and data lakes.
- Experience with tools like MuleSoft, Informatica, or similar ETL platforms is a plus.
- Strong understanding of data governance, data security, and compliance standards.
- Excellent leadership, project management, and team-building skills.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in SQL and data modeling.
Education/Qualification:
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field. Master s degree is a plus.
Years of Experience:
