Janitorial Services Technician

Overview:

We are currently seeking a Janitorial Services Technician to join our team. As a Janitorial Services Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in our facilities. This is a vital role in ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for both our valued employees and customers.

Responsibilities:

- Perform general cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming

- Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and other common areas

- Empty trash receptacles and replace liners

- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify supervisor when restocking is needed

- Perform minor repairs and maintenance tasks as needed

- Must have valid drivers license and the ability to travel to various locations within 20 miles.

- Follow established safety protocols and use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)

- Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding cleanliness and hygiene standards

Requirements:

- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or custodial work is preferred

- Knowledge of floor care techniques, such as buffing and waxing, is a plus

- Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely and efficiently

- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain cleanliness standards

- Good physical stamina and ability to perform repetitive tasks

- Excellent time management skills to ensure completion of assigned duties within specified timeframe

Note: This position may require occasional lifting of heavy objects or prolonged periods of standing or walking.
