JOB DESCRIPTION
Matheny Motor Truck Company is seeking a part-time Warehouse Associate for our Parkersburg location. The Warehouse Associate will organize and maintain the tool inventory for our General Motors and Volkswagen technicians. The Warehouse Associate directly reports to the Parts and Service Director.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Organize and maintain the tool room inventory so that our technicians have the right tools at all times, ensuring that work can completed timely.
- Driving a forklift to remove waste safely and efficiently from the service department.
- Operating a floor scrubber to clean and maintain the shop floors.
QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- One year of relevant experience preferred
- Forklift experience preferred
- Unrestricted driver’s license and clean driving record
- Highly professional and dependable
- Able to follow spoken and written instructions
- Able to bend, kneel, squat, stand, and lift heavy objects as needed
- Warehouse and inventory experience
- OSHA and MSDS experience preferred
- Experience with 5S Lean Thinking principles is a plus
