Job Summary:
The Lab Technician is responsible for performing routine maintenance and calibration on analytical equipment. He/She will calculate, prepare, and fill medical and specialty gas mixtures using partial pressure and gravimetric techniques. He/She will analyze products for purity conformance to specifications. He/She will process cylinders for shipment. He/She will maintain all quality control records and other required documentation in order to comply with company, local, state, and federal guidelines and regulations. He/She will test and certify incoming raw materials for production. He/She will be responsible for handling and loading the cylinders.
Requirements:
- Education - Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering
- Preferred two years of analytical experience
- GC knowledge
- Familiar with analytical gas technologies
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Strong computer skills
- Strong math skills
- Strong communication skills
- General Mechanical Aptitude
- Ability to Operator a Forklift
- Prior experience working in a quality assurance lab
- Ability to perform routine maintenance and calibration on analytical equipment
- Ability to Climb Ladders

Pay: $28.00 - $29.50 per hour
