Job Summary:
The Shipping/Receiving Clerk is responsible for verifying and keeping records on incoming and outgoing merchandise and preparing items for shipment by performing the necessary duties. This position will require the ability to stand for extended periods of time, as well occasionally sit at a desk to perform computer duties. He/She will also be driving a forklift and loading and unloading trucks.
Requirements:
- Education - High School Diploma or GED
- Available to work 2nd shift (M-F 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM)
- Shipping/Receiving Experience
- Forklift Experience
- Strong computer skills
- Loading/Unloading Experience
- Ability to perform heavy lifting
- Ability to work in a non-climate controlled environment.
- Ability to stand for an extended period of time
- Ability to sit occasionally at a desk to perform computer duties
- Preferred prior experience in the compressed gas industry
