About the Opportunity
MATHESON is seeking an experienced sales professional to join our team as an Outside Sales Representative.
The successful candidate will be responsible for building relationships with business and industrial establishments, selling products, and providing customer support.
Responsibilities:
- Compiling lists of prospective customers and establishing relationships with key decision-makers.
- Traveling throughout assigned territory to call on regular and prospective customers to solicit orders.
- Demonstrating product features and emphasizing salable aspects.
- Quoting prices and credit terms and preparing sales contracts for orders obtained.
- Estimating delivery dates based on production and delivery schedules.
- Preparing reports of business transactions and keeping expense accounts.
- Working with inside sales and route sales representatives to maintain account activities and literature.
- Coordinating customer training and developing new business opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Associate's degree in Welding Technology or related field from two-year college or technical school.
- Valid Driver's License.
- Six months to one year related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
