Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and innovative Instructional Designer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying objectives, designing, developing, and implementing high-quality learning experiences for MATHESON teammates.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of instructional design principles, learning technologies, and best practices in adult education. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects while ensuring the delivery of impactful learning solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Needs Analysis: Identify business needs through effective communication with various stakeholders and business leaders then utilize instructional design methodologies to solve the identified training gap.
- Curriculum and Content Development: Develop and design innovative learning solutions for all workgroups within MATHESON that align with learning objectives. This includes content in delivery methods including but not limited to: face-to-face, virtual, leader-led, online, self-paced, mobile, and blended learning.
- Technology Integration: Stay up-to-date on the instructional technologies landscape, including how to leverage technology for best value and best experience. Propose new and creative ways to make learning more efficient, engaging, and effective.
- Assessment and Evaluation: Evaluate learning effectiveness to demonstrate the business impact of all training programs and initiatives, using appropriate methods to obtain post-training data.
- Project Management: Manage key initiatives from development through delivery, maintenance of existing programs, and ability to meet timelines within a multiple project environment.
- Familiarity with Learning Management Systems.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
