Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Bankruptcy Attorney specializing in Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 filings who is passionate about the practice of law and takes pride in producing top-tier legal work.
Responsibilities:
- Represent clients in Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 bankruptcy
- Prepare and file legal documents such as bankruptcy petitions, motions, schedules, creditor notices, and responses.
- Conduct legal research and provide comprehensive bankruptcy advice to clients.
- Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
- Ensure adherence to all bankruptcy laws, regulations, and legal standards.
Requirements:
- Hold a Juris Doctorate and maintain good standing with the State Bar.
- Proficiency in Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 bankruptcy law and procedures.
- Demonstrated experience as a practicing bankruptcy attorney, preferably as an Independent Contractor, Special Appearance Attorney, or Coverage Counsel.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Capacity to work independently and reliably, with minimal supervision.
- Familiarity with legal research tools and technology, including Microsoft Office, WebEx, Zoom, Teams, Westlaw, and Lexis.
