Dental Assistant

Overview
We are seeking a Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate does not need to have experience, there will be on the job training! We are specifically looking for some one who is a team player, and can play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our dental office. This position requires a proactive individual who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and has a passion for helping others.

Duties

• Assist the dentist during various procedures, ensuring a sterile and organized environment.
• Perform medical imaging and maintain accurate medical documentation for patient records.
• Implement infection control protocols to maintain a safe and clean workspace.
• Engage with pediatric patients, providing comfort and support during their visits.
• Utilize software for patient management, and record keeping.
• Apply aseptic techniques to ensure the highest standards of patient safety.
• Assist with general dentistry tasks, including preparing treatment rooms and sterilizing instruments.
• Stay updated on medical terminology relevant to dental practices.

Requirements

• Strong communication skills, particularly when interacting with pediatric patients.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also demonstrating initiative.
• A commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and adhering to professional standards.
• Certification or training in dental assisting is preferred but not mandatory.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and has a passion for helping others.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 per week
