Duties

- Process patient registrations and maintain accurate records in the electronic health record (EHR) system.
- Answer phone calls promptly, addressing inquiries or directing calls to appropriate staff members.
- Assist with coding for insurance claims and ensure proper documentation for billing purposes.
- Collaborate with medical staff to facilitate patient flow and enhance service delivery.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area and waiting room.
- Handle administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and data entry as needed.
Skills
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with patients and healthcare professionals.
- Experience in primary care settings is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with clinic operations
- Knowledge of medical coding practices is an asset.
