Key Responsibilities
- Operate a variety of heavy equipment and tools, including but not limited to: excavators, bulldozers, backhoes, skid-steer loaders, and hand tools.
- Assist in the excavation, grading, and paving of roadways and highways.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks on equipment and machinery.
- Assist in the operation of concrete plants and other heavy equipment.
- Work safely and effectively in a fast-paced environment, following all company policies and procedures.
Responsibilities may include:
- Aligning, positioning, and sealing structural components.
- Digging ditches or trenches, backfilling excavations, and compacting and leveling earth to grade specifications.
- Positioning, joining, aligning, and sealing concrete wall sections and stormwater pipes.
- Loading, unloading, and identifying building materials, machinery, and tools, and distributing them to the appropriate locations according to project plans and specifications.
