**Job Responsibilities**
We are looking for a highly skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team at Mathiowetz Construction Co. The ideal candidate will have experience working on heavy equipment and machinery, including bulldozers, motor graders, scrapers, front-end loaders, skid-steer loaders, backhoes, packers, belly dump trucks, side dump trucks, off-road trucks, and end dump trucks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks on heavy equipment, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake pad replacements.
- Diagnose and repair complex mechanical issues on heavy equipment, including engine problems, transmission issues, and hydraulic system malfunctions.
- Use specialized tools and equipment to diagnose and repair problems, including diagnostic software, pressure testers, and compression gauges.
- Collaborate with other technicians to complete complex repairs and maintenance tasks.
