Responsibilities
- Deliver outstanding customer service by greeting and assisting customers in a friendly manner.
- Communicate effectively with customers to understand their needs and provide appropriate product recommendations.
- Operate cash registers, handle cash transactions accurately, and ensure proper cash handling procedures are followed.
- Conduct product demonstrations to showcase features and benefits, encouraging sales through engaging presentations.
- Maintain an organized and well-stocked sales floor by restocking merchandise as needed and ensuring displays are visually appealing.
- Assist in supervising junior staff members, providing guidance and support to enhance team performance.
- Utilize retail math skills to manage inventory levels effectively and track sales performance.
- Exhibit professional phone etiquette when responding to customer inquiries or scheduling appointments.
Experience
- Previous experience in a retail environment is preferred but not required.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively with diverse clientele.
- Familiarity with cash register operations and cash handling procedures is beneficial.
- Experience in conducting product demos or presentations is a plus.
- Basic understanding of retail math concepts is advantageous for inventory management tasks.
