Responsibilities
- Engage with customers to understand their needs and preferences regarding mattresses.
- Conduct product demonstrations to showcase the features and benefits of various mattress options.
- Provide knowledgeable recommendations based on customer inquiries and preferences.
- Utilize upselling techniques to enhance sales opportunities while ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Maintain a clean and organized sales floor, ensuring all products are displayed attractively.
- Operate cash register efficiently, processing transactions accurately.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and improve store performance.
- Exhibit excellent phone etiquette when handling customer inquiries over the phone.
- Assist in supervising junior staff members, providing guidance and support as needed.
Requirements
- Proven experience in retail sales or customer service, preferably in the mattress or furniture industry.
- Strong collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with an emphasis on active listening.
- Basic math skills for accurate transaction processing and inventory management.
