Summary
We are seeking an enthusiastic Instructor to join our team at Mathnasium. In this role, you will provide customized math instruction to students, helping them build confidence and a love for math. Your expertise will play a critical role in transforming students' understanding and performance in mathematics.
Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and effective math instruction using The Mathnasium Method™.
- Assess student needs and develop tailored learning plans to address their specific challenges.
- Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies as needed to ensure understanding.
- Foster a positive learning environment that encourages student participation and enthusiasm for math.
- Collaborate with other instructors to share best practices and improve instructional techniques.
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress and areas for improvement.
Requirements
- Strong background in mathematics or related field, with a passion for teaching.
- Experience working with students in an educational setting is preferred.
- Excellent mentoring and communication skills to effectively engage students.
- Ability to develop curriculum and adapt teaching methods to meet diverse learning needs.
- Familiarity with learning management systems (LMS) is a plus.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $14.75 - $17.05 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 25 per week
Schedule:
- 4 hour shift
- After school
- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
