Job Overview
The Mathnasium Learning Centers are committed to teaching children math so that they understand it, master it, and love it. Our world-class curriculum is built upon the Mathnasium Method—the result of decades of hands-on instruction and development—and has changed the lives of children since 2002.
We are seeking a qualified Math Instructor/Tutor/Teacher to join our team at Mathnasium of Purcellville. As a member of our instructional staff, you will be responsible for delivering individualized instruction in a group setting using the Mathnasium MethodTM, terminology, and teaching practices.
This role requires a passion for math and working with students, excellent interpersonal skills, eagerness to learn and be trained, and exceptional math competency through at least Algebra I. You will also need to be able to balance various ongoing tasks and work collaboratively with team members to deliver high-quality instruction.
Becoming a part of our team means having the opportunity to transform the lives of 1st-12th grade students by providing them with a fun, supportive, and encouraging learning environment. In return, we offer consistent, but flexible part-time hours after school and on weekends, opportunities for advancement, continuous training on effective teaching methodologies, and all necessary curriculum and instructional tools.
