Key Responsibilities
As a Math Instructor/Tutor/Teacher at Mathnasium of Purcellville, your key responsibilities will include:
* Delivering individualized instruction in a group setting using the Mathnasium MethodTM, terminology, and teaching practices
* Teaching/tutoring in-center, online, and/or via hybrid delivery
* Assessing students' learning progress and engagement throughout instructional sessions
* Becoming proficient with digital educational materials and processes
* Supporting the maintenance of a safe and professional learning environment
* Collaborating with team members to deliver high-quality instruction
You will need to possess a passion for math and working with students, excellent interpersonal skills, eagerness to learn and be trained, and exceptional math competency through at least Algebra I to succeed in this role.
We offer flexible part-time hours after school and on weekends, opportunities for advancement, and continuous training on effective teaching methodologies and curriculum and instructional tools as a member of our team.
